Kart am Alfsee

Kart am Alfsee runs a 601-metre outdoor layout by the Alfsee artificial lake, in Rieste, in the Osnabrück district, within the large Alfsee holiday park. The exact type of karts, petrol or electric, and their power do not appear on the home page and are confirmed directly on +49 5464 900963.

The site enjoys a waterside setting, with stands along the track, a sunny terrace overlooking the layout, a bistro for catering and an 80-person club room for groups and corporate events. The hours follow the seasons: from high season, 1 March to 31 October, with daily opening from 10am until dusk, to low season, 1 November to 28 February, open Wednesday to Sunday from 11am until dusk. Groups form from 7 to 10 people depending on the package.

Rieste lies in the Osnabrück district, 30 km north of Osnabrück, 60 km south-west of Bremen and 100 km west of Hannover. Osnabrück keeps its Romanesque Saint Peter's cathedral and its town hall, one of the two rooms where the Peace of Westphalia was negotiated in 1648. Bramsche shows its drapery museum, Bad Iburg its bishops' residence castle, and the Wiehengebirge unrolls the Wittekindsweg hiking trail along its wooded heights. Münster and its UNESCO-listed Prinzipalmarkt are 70 km to the south-west, and Bremen, with its UNESCO town hall and Roland, 60 km to the north-east.
