About

KartCity runs a covered track with a capacity of twelve karts at once, in Braunschweig, a reduced set-up that smooths the lines and limits contact. The site works as a multi-activity complex: the kart track is rounded out by LaserCity, 1,000 m² of laser tag fitted with the Raptor III and Troodon systems, two lounges for meetings and presentations, and a catering area.

On rates, expect 19 euros for 13 minutes for adults and 15 euros for young people, Race events from 39 euros per person and corporate formulas between 50 and 120 euros per kart. Each session ends with a driving certificate. The track opens Tuesday to Friday 4pm to 9pm, Saturday and Sunday 12pm to 9pm and public holidays 12pm to 8pm. Access is from age 8 and about 1.50 m, for adults, young people, companies, leisure groups and stag and hen parties.

Braunschweig is the second city of Lower Saxony, around 250,000 inhabitants, the former capital of Henry the Lion, one of the most powerful princes of the Holy Roman Empire in the 12th century. The city keeps the Saint Blaise cathedral and his tomb, the medieval Burgplatz with the bronze lion of 1166, the oldest equestrian monument north of the Alps, the rebuilt baroque palace and the Magni quarter. Wolfsburg and the Volkswagen Autostadt are 35 km to the east, Hildesheim and its UNESCO-listed Romanesque churches 50 km to the south-west, Hannover 70 km to the west, Goslar, UNESCO-listed, 50 km to the south, and the Harz 60 km to the south-east.
