In Koropi, on the Mesogeia plain east of Athens, Racing Kart Santa Marina offers an open-air karting track along the road that runs down towards Cape Sounion. The track opens in the evening on weekdays, from six to half past ten at night, and all day at the weekend, from half past ten, while staying closed on Tuesdays. The Mesogeia is the great farming plain of eastern Attica, set between Mount Hymettus and the coast, dotted with towns such as Koropi and Markopoulo.
